Interests in spine and skull base will be well supported in the context of a general neurosurgery position. The new neurosurgeon will be able to capture an outmigration of cases in a growing market. In addition to the clinical practice, the new neurosurgeon has an opportunity for a clinical faculty appointment at the university, resident, fellow, and medical student teaching opportunities, and collaborative research/trials.

• Case mix currently 50/50 spine/cranial. Opportunity to capture additional elective volume in spine and/or cranial. Case mix for new hires dependent upon interests
• Clinical Faculty appointment at University
• Walk into immediate volume with opportunity to grow the service line
• 1:5-6 call schedule for the new hire depending on timing of recruitment; PAs take first call
• 3 PAs on staff (with plans to hire 2 additional) who offer surgical assists, clinic assist, rounding on patients, and call coverage support
• Fellow, Resident, and Medical Student teaching opportunities available at main campus: Grand Rounds, Friday academic/teaching days, and other opportunities
• Block OR time available
