Pediatric Neurosurgery Opportunity in Large Midwestern City

A 200+-bed Level I Trauma Center located in a large Midwestern city is excited to recruit two pediatric neurosurgeons to the team. A chief position is available for those with the requisite experience; the team is also happy to consider new graduates.

The hospital is ranked as one of America's best pediatric hospitals by U.S. News & World Report. The medical center has undergone a large expansion including new operating rooms, a new main entrance and lobby, a new emergency department, a new ICU, and more. The hospital also operates six outpatient pediatric facilities throughout the region.

Practice Highlights:
• Call will be 1:2, APPs take first call
• Large in-house referral base
• Catchment area of over four million
• 100 cases conservatively anticipated in year one with more than 200 once established
• Block OR time available
• Epileptologist, peds neurologists and neuropsychologist on staff
• Spina bifida clinic exists
• O-Arm and Stealth navigation, new CT and new MRI
• Dedicated Neuro-ICU
