An academic Neuroscience Institute is excited to recruit two general neurosurgeons for affiliated community hospitals in its region. The institute’s Neurosurgery Department has an accredited neurosurgery residency program and currently employs 23 faculty members. Opportunities are available on two separate campuses.
The Neuroscience Institute has a great need for general neurosurgeons that can provide local care for patients in significant growth areas of the region and integrate care plans with the tertiary care center. Qualified candidates should be able to care for basic cranial and spinal neurotrauma with the ability to perform general cranial procedures. However, there is a particular interest in finding neurosurgeons qualified to perform minimally invasive surgical approaches to the spine.
These positions will be 80% spine: currently the need is for general neurosurgeons with a spine focus. Qualified candidates would also have the option to perform complex cranial and spinal cases at the institution's flagship hospital as a member of the neurosurgical faculty.
About Main Campus:
The health system is its state's largest private employer, and a national leader in patient safety and quality. It is comprised of sixteen member hospitals and three hospitals under management agreements, anchored by their flagship hospital which offers tertiary and quaternary care.
