A medical center in the South is seeking a general neurosurgeon to join their hospital. This is a hospital employed position and there is a strong need in this community. The recent departure of one partner, along with a local community hospital no longer providing neurosurgery services have all created a strong need. Immediate volume is available to capture cases leaving the community. You will be partnering with the current partner who has been with the practice since 2018 and is very excited to expand the team. You will be well supported by your new partner and administration to have a busy clinical practice in a very collegial environment. The current neurosurgeon is happy to welcome and mentor a new grad, or consider a partner with years of experience, and a recent hire will be joining them summer of 2025.
The medical center is a 438-bed, Level III Trauma Center serving the area. As the premier regional referral center, they are the most technologically advanced facility in the region.

• Call schedule of 1 in 3 with mid-levels taking first call, call not burdensome
• Hospital committed to using locums to maintain 1 in 3 call schedule
