A well-established program in the northeast is hiring a spine-focused general surgeon to join their growing program. The Neuroscience Institute offers extensive clinical care programs, research, and education in neurology, and takes a multi-disciplinary approach to spine and cranial disorders. New grads and experienced candidates are welcome to apply. Mentorship is available for new grads.
The new surgeon will have the opportunity to capture existing volume including general neurosurgery, degenerative spine, and MIS cases. This position will be exclusively at the main campus, which boasts a 12-bed Neuro-ICU staffed with 4 neuro-intensivists, and the opportunity to be very busy clinically. There is immediate volume available due to the one of their surgeons leaving the program.
This position offers a very competitive base salary and wRVU-based productivity bonus, benefits and deferred compensation.
This medical center is a 500-bed facility offering acute care services in numerous specialties including neurosciences, rehabilitation, cardiac, pediatrics, general surgery, obstetrics, oncology and many more. It is also home to several residency programs including family practice, rehabilitation, neurology and dentistry and colorectal surgery. The Neuroscience Institute is also affiliated with a local University School of Medicine, which offers a clinical faculty appointment, teaching and collaborative research opportunities.
