A medical center in the beautiful Rocky Mountains is excited to recruit two general neurosurgeons to join their collaborative team! Interests in spine, including MIS work and trauma, will be well supported. New grads and those with experience are welcome.
The new hire will join one in-practice spine neurosurgeon. The system is also committed to hiring two additional spine specialists to round out the team.
Hospital Highlights:
The admitting hospital is a 237-bed, Level I Trauma Center. Having received the Healthgrades Distinguished Hospital Award for Clinical Excellence™, the neurosurgery staff enjoys a supportive and collaborative relationship with the administrative team. The hospital has 12 surgical suites, a 10-bed neuro-ICU, and up to date technology and equipment.
Position Highlights:
• 1:4 trauma call, APPs take floor and inpatient call
• Cranial and spine clinics are currently being formed to manage non-emergent calls that come through the ER
• Fantastic team of APPs: 3 are on staff for inpatient and floor call, 2 APPs are currently dedicated to the existing neurosurgeon's practice, and an additional APP will be provided for new hire
• 150 cases anticipated in year one with more than 250 once established
• Brain Lab along with two Kinevo microscopes on site in addition to two Stealth stations, an O-Arm and 7D navigation
• Tort reform state!
• Attractive base plus RVU plus call pay compensation structure
• Extraordinarily supportive leadership team within the neurosciences and in the C-suite
