This is a 500+-bed hospital designated as a Level I Adult Trauma Center and a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center. The hospital recently purchased a Stealth system and offers state-of-the-art technology. The pediatric arm of the neurosurgery department boasts active craniosynostosis, spina bifida, and fetal programs. Pediatric neurosurgeons do not take call; adult neurosurgeons are comfortable handling acute cases and will pass them off to the pediatric hire in the morning.
