Leadership Opportunity at Prestigious Southern Neurosurgery Spine Division

A large academic health center in a major Southern metropolis is seeking an academic spine specialist to assume the role of Director of the Neurosurgery Spine Division. The director will be expected to spearhead efforts to enhance the division’s reputation and visibility by ensuring it remains at the forefront of new technologies and groundbreaking research. In addition to further developing the research program, the director will be expected to mentor faculty and research staff; the health center runs a neurosurgery residency program with a full complement of three residents per year, as well as a CAST-approved spine fellowship program. This is an outstanding opportunity for a neurosurgeon with extensive spine experience, a passion for academic leadership, and a desire to run a busy, successful organization as it endeavors to cement itself as a national leader in spine care.
