A prestigious academic healthcare system is seeking a spine-focused neurosurgeon to join one of its very well-equipped community hospitals. The new neurosurgeon will inherit a busy clinical practice as one of the neurosurgeons is relocating within the healthcare system. This opportunity is ideal for a spine-focused general neurosurgeon comfortable with routine cranial neurosurgery. In addition to the clinical practice, the new neurosurgeon has an opportunity for a clinical faculty appointment, resident, fellow, and medical student teaching opportunities, and collaborative research/trials.
The neurosurgery team enjoys a close collaboration with the hospital's multidisciplinary pain management clinic and receives referrals from several busy departments.
The hospital is a 115-bed Level II Trauma Center, expanding to 210 beds in early 2026. It is ranked among the top 50 hospitals in the nation for neurology and neurosurgery according to U.S. News & World Report.
The healthcare program is an integrated healthcare system centered around the preeminent university. Its flagship hospital is consistently rated among the best in the nation. The award-winning health system prides itself on adhering to its principles of superior quality, academic excellence, scientific discovery, and patient safety.
Practice Highlights:

• Q4 call schedule & call is highly consultative
• 2 PA's and 1 APRN who function as surgical assists, clinic assist, rounding on patients, and call coverage support
• Fellow, Resident, and Medical Student teaching opportunities available at main campus: Grand Rounds, Friday academic/teaching days, and other opportunities
