The health system has expanded its services and recently earned certification as a comprehensive stroke center. They are looking to add neurologists in several subspecialties, including Neurohospitalist, Epilepsy, and Movement Disorders. These roles offer immediate access to a strong patient base, with ample opportunities for both research and teaching.
Position Highlights:
• Neurohospitalist: Primary need for neurohospitalists for the General and Epilepsy Neurohospitalist Service. Vascular Neurologists are also welcome to join the Stroke Team.
• Epilepsy: Opportunities for epilepsy-trained specialists to join a growing program with access to an active EMU and epilepsy surgery.
• Movement Disorders: Contribute to the growth of the Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) program and work in an outpatient-focused environment with no hospital call for Movement Disorders.
• Tele-Stroke: Tele-stroke services in place to support stroke care.
• Research & Teaching: Opportunities for clinical research and academic involvement, including teaching for the local graduate medical education program.
• Work Schedule: 7 on/7 off schedule for Neurohospitalist positions.
