Faculty opportunities for outpatient subspecialists and vascular neurologists in Arizona - Stroke Directorship available!

This nationally recognized academic program in sunny Arizona is actively recruiting a variety of neurologists to join their faculty. Their current needs are for General Neurologists as well as Headache, Neuromuscular, Movement Disorders, Multiple Sclerosis and Vascular Neurologists. Additionally, there is a leadership role available for a Stroke Medical Director.

Stroke Medical Director Highlights:
• The newly hired Stroke leader will have oversight of the clinical, educational, and national certification efforts for the stroke program as the Stroke Medical Director/Stroke Fellowship Program Director for our Comprehensive Stroke Center.
• Responsibility to attend on the inpatient dedicated stroke service and while staffing the outpatient stroke clinics (stroke team includes neurology residents, stroke fellows, and a stroke NP).
• High level of close collaboration with the neurocritical care team, vascular neurosurgery/neurointerventional, neuroradiology, neurorehabilitation services, neuroscience nursing, and stroke coordinators.
• The position will include teaching and academic activities as well as opportunities to participate in clinical research.
• Protected research time may also be available depending on the candidate’s background, training, and interests.
• The successful candidate will have a full appointment within the Department of Neurology.

Inpatient Position Details:
• Stroke Medical Director opportunity available
• Junior Stroke faculty positions open as well
• 7on/7off schedule during neurohospitalist weeks, and M-F schedule during ambulatory weeks
• Faculty Appointment with neurology residents and vascular fellows
• 100k Loan Repayment available, plus Public Service Loan Forgiveness. Generous tuition discounts for applicant and immediate family members at all three Arizona universities

Outpatient Neurology Position Details:
• Majority subspecialty volume for Headache, Neuromuscular, Multiple Sclerosis and Movement Disorder specialists
• Outpatient general neurology position available, with support for hybrid subspecialty positions
• Faculty Appointment with neurology residents and fellows
• Support for research available with ongoing clinical trials
