Scenic Northern California General Urology and/or Sub-Specialty Opportunity

A Northern California hospital group is excited to welcome an additional urologist to their growing practice. The incoming urologist will join two other physicians and one PA in the practice. There is demand in the area where an experienced urologist will be able to ramp up quickly, though this is also an ideal opportunity for residents and fellows seeking mentorship. This position offers a nice work-life balance and there are safeguards in place to avoid burn out.

Hospital Highlights
• Employed by the group or as a 1099 contractor
• 298-bed, level II trauma center
• Largest medical center in the region
• Catchment area of 400,000
• Hospital building a new Comprehensive Cancer Center, to be completed in 2026

Position Highlights
• New and spacious hospital-based clinic with zero overhead
• General urology position, but can accommodate subspecialty interests, especially urologic oncology
• Two DaVinci Xi surgical robots, but robotic skills are not required
• Call is 1:5, a week at a time, shared with community urologists
• Supportive staff, medical assistants, an APP & a Scribe program
• Uses EPIC for EMR
• Competitive salary, $585,000 in year one with call
• $20,000 relocation, $60,000 sign-on bonus
• $1500 monthly stipend available to trainees
• Qualified for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program
• 2-year income guarantee
