A well-established private practice, with full support of the hospital, is recruiting for outpatient neurologists and neurohospitalists to join this robust and well-established group in Northern Virginia. Those with subspecialty interests in movement disorders, neuromuscular medicine, sleep, and clinical neurophysiology can quickly develop a subspecialized focus. Neurologists with most any clinical interest would be welcomed though.
This practice has been in the community for over 50 years and currently has 5 outpatient neurologists, 2 interventional neurologists, and 9 total APPs. Neurosciences is a cornerstone of the health system, offering full support for those interested in program building to bring new services, procedures, and therapeutics.
Position Highlights:
-Step into immediate volume
-Opportunity to step into established EMG practice
-Flexible clinic scheduling available for outpatient neurologists, part-time option available
-Currently have NP already trained in movement disorders for support
-Neurosurgery is currently doing DBS surgeries, excited to collaborate with neurologist
-Full complement of diagnostic testing, with in-house sleep and neurophysiology labs
-Infrastructure and extensive support for clinical trials
-7on/7 off schedule for neurohospitalist
-Neurology is consult service, cover only one hospital
-Overnight call shared equally among the group, non-burdensome and handled by phone
