The program is currently comprised of 5 outpatient neurologists, 3 neurohospitalists, 2 neuro-radiologists, 3 neurosurgeons, and 8 APPs. The new hires will enjoy being stationed at the system’s Gainesville campus.

About the Stroke Medical Directorship Role –
• Minimum of 3-years experience required
• Will report to the Health System CMO and the Executive Director of the Neuroscience Service Line
• Will provide leadership in ongoing initiatives of the stroke program, assist in maintaining stroke center certification status, and will ensure quality, evidence-based stroke care related to:
- Treatment time benchmarks
- Performance Outcomes
- Education requirements
- Policies and procedures compliance
- Development of stroke program objectives
- Provide input on staffing, budgets, equipment, and agenda development
About the Inpatient Neurosciences Medical Directorship Role –
• At least 2-years of experienced required.
• Will oversee the daily operations and clinical functions of inpatient neurology and neuro-critical care units to ensure high standards of patient care and safety
• 70% clinical / 30% admin time
• Participates in establishing and fulfilling the mission, vision, goals, and objectives of the health system’s and neuroscience service line
• Develops and implements clinical protocols and pathways to enhance the effiency and quality of care provided
• Defines and implements quality metrics in partnership with physicians, APPs, and administration
